10 Week Restore Your 5K Glory!
This program is for you if:
You are NOT completely new to running but maybe have taken a significant hiatus
You are coming back from an injury (and have medical clearance to run) but have maintained the majority of your fitness
You have completed a 5K or longer distance in the past (5 years or less)
You are physically active in other ways - hiking, biking, strength training etc
You are capable of running for 25 minutes with a 3:00 run/2:00 walk interval cycle (at whatever pace suits you)
You currently are not challenged with (including but not limited to) shin splints, ITB syndrome, hip flexor tightness/soreness, plantar fasciitis, chronic pain (specifically low back)
You LOVE to have FUN
You want to improve your cardio fitness
You want to get stronger
You embrace commitment! This is a 10 Week Program where every new week builds on the previous week’s work
This RunBuddies 10 Week Restore Your Glory 5K Clinic
will build you up to running at least 5k comfortably, reducing your risk for injury, increasing your level of fun while keeping you surrounded by a supportive, committed community of like minded RunBuddies.
The program is based on 10 weeks, 3 runs per week; 2 of which are coached. You will follow the Walk/Run method, starting at 2:00 Walking + 3:00 Running Throughout the clinic you’ll also get to play with speed and some strength building.
It’s SO much more than just running!
Community building, friendship building, FUN having, Coaching from us runners who’ve been where you are…the list goes on and on and on
